This unit covered all sorts of teaching aids and resources. A particularly long list, it includes dictionaries, course books, resource books, whiteboards, interactive whiteboards, overhead projectors, visual aids, cassette players/recorders, DVDs/CDs, computer, worksheets/work cards, photocopiers, video cameras, and online resources. Each of these items was discussed by either talking about helpful hints and things to keep in mind, examples of their usage, their advantages and disadvantages, or included a given list of links to check out. While most of these things seem obvious to someone who has been in a classroom before, it was nice to review them from an educator's standpoint so I can be adequately prepared when I use them for my own class.
