Unit sixteen provides information on conditionals and reported speech. Five different conditionals were discussed in terms of the form and usage. I learnt about typical mistakes students are likely to make and to be able to identify them. The importance is to go through the work slowly, especially the areas that are more challenging. Teaching ideas were also provided as examples of activities to carry out in the lesson. Direct and indirect speech was explained involving present and past tenses and using example sentences. Once again ideas were provided on activities to carry out during the lessons. All the information contained in this unit will enable me to teach conditionals and reported speech as efficiently as possible.
