There are a lot of different methodologies that can be applied in the classroom for a successful lesson. The method that is said to work best is the ESA, or Engage, Study, Activate method. This method is sort of like a combination of several other methods. It works by getting the students involved and engaged, ensuring that they are invested in the lesson. Then the study section is when new language, vocabulary, grammar, etc. is imparted and drilled. Finally is the activate section where they make use of previous language as well as the language just learned in the study section.
