I have learnt different methods of managing my classroom for effective teaching and learning. The unit was all encompassing helping me understand that managing a class goes beyond seat arrangements to my gestures in class, how the students are grouped, how I write on the board, rapport I create in class and the different methods of maintaining discipline in the classroom. This unit further helped me understand that the role of a teacher goes beyond teaching and learning to helping the students create a relaxed atmosphere that facilitates learning.
