Unit seventeen discusses teaching aids and equipment used to make a lesson more interesting and to enhance the meaning of different topics. Although very useful, teaching aids are not always available at every school as they can be very expensive. Teachers should make the most of what is available to them and not become heavily reliant on the equipment. It is important to remember that these are teaching aids to help in the teaching of the lesson and not in place of important teaching material. The benefits and disadvantages of the different teaching aids and equipment were also discussed which was very helpful to take note of when planning lessons.
