In this unit I learned about problems with first lessons. I learned that in a new group it is a good idea to build rapport with the students, find out about them and prepare an activity for them before starting the course work. I learned that existing groups can be more comfortable for the students because they are already familiar with each other. I learned that the dynamics in a large class can be difficult to handle and so to be prepared with worksheets paired work and appointing group leaders.
