This unit was focused on past tenses which can be categorized into 4 types; 1.Past simple tense - Its is used for actions completed at a definite time in the past,for past actions when the time is given,when the time is asked about and when the action took place at at specific time even though it was not mentioned. 2.Past continuous tense-It is used to interrupted past actions and also used to express an action which began before that time and probably continued after. 3.Past perfect tense -It is used to represent actions that took place before other actions in the past, it could also be viewed as the "a past in the past" 4.Past perfect continuous-It is used when talking about longer actions or situations in the past that had been going on continuously up to the past moment that we are thinking about.
