Unit 3 gives an overview of different teaching methods, stating the principle they are based on and what their positive and negative aspects are. The ESA method is then described more in depth. Examples of activities for each stage are being given, followed by examples of actual lessons in different formats. Another topic that is being covered is giving feedback and correcting.
After having studied this unit I feel I have a better understanding of different teaching methods, especially when it comes to the ESA method and how to apply it. I could also get more ideas for different activities that can be used in class. The material has also provided good guidelines when it comes to correcting students.
