The ESA approach is the most effective method of modern teaching as far as language study is concerned. Students should be encouraged to speak more freely at the Engage level of a typical ESA lesson. Activities at the Engage stage should guide the teacher direct the teacher to the pressing language needs of the students. At the activate stage, students should be encouraged to practice the new content they've learnt together with what they already know, with minimal or no correction. Feedback is very essential in every lesson. The type or extent of feedback depends on various factors including the type of activity and individual students. Errors and mistakes are not the same. When students make mistakes or commit errors, it shows that at least, they are trying. corrections should be done with caution and at specific stages of the lesson.
