I actually found parts of this lesson a little out dated for the United States of America, although I am assuming many classrooms overseas might still use these types of equipment and aids. This lesson taught me about the different teaching equipment found in ESL classrooms, such as whiteboards, interactive white boards, overhead projector, videos, DVDS, cassettes, video camera, CD player, and many more. I have not seen an overhead projector in any school I have taught at, so I think it would be hard to actually use one in a foreign country simply because I would not know where to get the worksheets and how to set up an overhead projector. This also applies to cassettes, because I do not know where I would even get a cassette from anymore. What I really like about this unit is all the resources that are listed at the end of the lesson. I believe these resources are a lot more up to date and useful for me in my future teaching.
