Watching the first video, it was easy to point out instantly what the teacher was doing that was wrong. He came off as really rude at the beginning, especially since he scoffed when the students did not understand what he was looking for. He also seemed to intimidate the students because his posture and his pacing was more authoritative and not as encouraging. In the second video, the teacher had a positive attitude and made the lesson more engaging. He encouraged the students by even having a small competition (friendly) with the number of animals the students were able to come up with. It was smart to first have the students think of the animals, and then introduce the auxiliary verbs. You could tell the students were a lot more responding because he used an ESA framework.
