Unit 15 looks at various methods to evaluate a student's proficiency level. There are different kinds of tests that can be conducted and this unit explains what they are used for and the appropriate time in a learners journey to use them. For example, at the beginning of their journey it's best to implement a placement test in order to ascertain their level and what classes are suitable for them. Progress tests are best implemented throughout their course of study to monitor their levels.
