This unit addressed common problems in the classroom and how teachers can address those problems. I learned that it is important to establish rapport with students and to discover what they are mainly interested in. I believe it is extremely important to know what excites your students, as it is often the easiest to learn something new when we find it to be fun. I think the most helpful part of this unit was the advice it gave on what to do with students of different language levels. I hadn't thought about what the best way to deal with that would be, but I liked the idea of pairing stronger students with weaker students. In doing so, the students would also be able to build rapport with one another.
