Pronunciation and Phonology is definitely a neglected topic when we're learning english. I believe that's because we don't want to overwhelm students with phonetics symbols and other kind of technical terms.
However, in this unit I've learned that even though this topic might seem complex, we can still teach phonology, articulation, manner of articulation through simple excercises; activities in which students will realize is not so hard after all.
If you add pronunciation to the skill set you're offering the student, it will definitely make classes more interesting.
