This unit covers all of the different tools and equipment that we can use for our English instruction. There are so many different tools to use and understanding pros/cons of each will help determine what we can use when planning lessons. For example, using a DVD or internet video can be beneficial if used in the right way. As described in the lesson material, we can use a video with the sound muted and have the students either write or speak about what is happening in the class. I believe it is important for teachers to be creative in their methods when using these different tools. Some mediums may be better for teaching certain materials to different age groups or language levels.
