Like previous units, this unit gives advice for some difficult situations teachers may face, such as large class sizes, reluctant students, classes with gaps in student abilities, and how to organize a first lesson. As I've learned previously, the best approach is to be receptive to student needs and use pair work/group work activities and other strategies to make classes accessible to everyone. The unit also has useful suggestions for warmer activities and backup materials, such as using vocabulary/memory games to engage students at the start of a lesson and to prepare quick activities like word searches to keep students using English at the end of a lesson if all other activities have finished early.
