In Unit 17, I learned about the different equipment that can be used for teaching a class. The white board is most the effective tool for students. However, you are not supposed to write in capital letters because it is harder for students to read.
An interactive whiteboard is also another great tool, but since it's electronic, it may let you down at the wrong time. You must make sure that you test the equipment before using it and have a backup device in case it fails.
Overhead projectors can help increase students' attention and cut down the time necessary to write on the board. It also lets you spend more time facing the students and less time with your back towards them. However, overhead projectors are not the easiest to use and can require a lot of time for set-up.
