This has been a wonderful lesson about various technologies in the classroom. I do understand if you use the smart boards that one can still have difficulties and be prepared and having a back up plan in case it doesn't work. Everyone loves using them but when the power is out at your school due to a storm, or the electricity just goes out...the smart boards do not work. So it is always important to be thinking about back up plans and making sure your lessons go smoothly through out the day. Loss of instruction time is very detrimental to the teaching of students. So have a back up plan and be prepared.
