From Unit11, I learned a lot about receptive skills. In this Unit, I learned something about productive skills.
Productive skills are about speaking and writing. These two parts are equally important for both teachers and students. In English learning and teaching, teachers and students always pay more attention to speaking part which is generally used in communicating and considered as the most important part. As the limited time of a class, writing part is easy to be neglected by teachers. And most teachers think that this part can be practiced by students as their homework.
For the speaking part, teachers can prepare some fun English games to activate students. As for the beginners, teachers should encourage them more and be more patient. And for the fluency based activities, teachers had better not correct each mistakes as soon as they make, teachers should focus on the flow of the communication.
