Classroom is a very important place for both teachers and students. No matter how brilliant the teachers and students are. Knowing how to manage classroom effectively is very important for teachers. As teachers, we need to learn more effective ways to deal with different kinds of situations in the classroom. We can use different tools and methods,such as pair work, eye contact, visual clues, gestures, mime and so on.
We'd better know how to group smartly. We should pay attention to the age of the students, nationality of students, student personality... and try to arrange our students to work with different people. It would be better to put weak students together with stronger students.
During a class, teachers should try to keep TTT to minimal levels to give students more chance to express their ideas. And when teachers need to give instructions, we'd better use language at a lower level than that being taught. After that, we also need to CCQ our students to make sure they understand the instructions.
