Testing is an important part of the whole teaching experience, because it tells the teacher what the students have actually retained, without the guidance of the teacher to answer their questions. This lesson taught me that there are different ways to test the students to see where they are at, without them having to know it was a test. I think the only thing that I kind of disagree with is part in the lesson is when some teachers are against testing because it's more of a test of memory than knowledge. Memorization plays a huge role in learning a new language and I think that's an important things to emphasize.
