In this unit, I have learnt about the various groups that I may teach, they are beginners, young learners/children and business people.
I have learnt about the various challenges that may arise when teaching different groups and ways to cope with them and also minimise them.
I find the section of the different techniques for teaching different groups very helpful as I believe that it will bring out the best benefit in learning for the students.
The most interesting section in this unit is the one on teaching business English, I find the part where teachers may have to drastically modify the lesson in an attempt to teach the adult students something when combating tiredness very intriguing. It appears to me that the adult learners will be a dynamic group to tackle and teach.
