Trouble shooting for a class can help a teacher engage all students regardless of their speed at which they are learning the days materials as well as set up a new classroom dynamic for a teaching starting a new course. This can be broken down into several parts including, First lessons, warmers, different levels of language use in students, large classes, use of native language in the classroom, reluctant students and problems with listening texts. First lessons either with a brand new class or a previously established class a teacher must not resort to text book use, but instead establish a rapport with the class. You should also find out about your students to better judge where your lessons will be geared toward. Also find out the language level of each student tow better assist with future lesson planning. Start your lessons with a warmer to help engage your students. These can be fun and useful for the days lesson. If you are dealing with different levels try to use different approaches such as same materials but different tasks, or even different materials to fit individual needs or you can try pairing stronger students with weaker ones to help facilitate problem solving and conversation between students who try to help each other succeed. When dealing with large classrooms remember to "Keep it moving" by using pair groups for exercises, choral repetition, worksheets and remember clarity so that your speech volume and written words are both heard and visible to the entire class. When dealing with reluctant students use pair groups, controlled practice to help strengthen their fluency and use role play between students. In all be versatile, engaging and don't forget fun.
