I found this last test in this series of my TEOFL certificate preparation to be very informative from a practical sense. Although at this time, I am mainly teaching private Japanese students of various ages from High School to Seniors, I found the three categories: General English, Business and Academic to be very useful for future curriculum creation/planning. As most of the Japanese adults I teach have already taken their TOEFL, I would like to concentrate on my younger students to help them take this test by learning more about it, in order to guide them. As to Business English, iI have many Business people as my students and I am sure that the TOEIC, CAMBRIDGE BEC, and perhaps the BULATS will help them increase and motivate themselves to do better in English. Of course, when it comes to the Academic level, I certainly have many students at this level, some preparing for their TOEFL... (IELTS not as common in Japan). I wish to study more about all three categories in depth and help my students to further excel in their English. Thank you very much.
