This lesson discusses different advantages and disadvantages from using course books and lesson materials in the classroom. Here we also learn what created materials are and how to apply them or substitute them for the benefit of the students. Teachers can apply both forms of materials to make the lessons more up to date and suitable for the students. Course books and lesson materials have a lot of advantages because they appeal to a general audience and have lessons that can be of interests to one or more students, the disadvantage is that not every lesson can be sutible for the students depending on cultural back ground or level of understanding. This is where teachers can be creative by substituting the lesson with something that will intrest the students or be at their learning level. Teachers can also add extra parts to a lesson to make it more fun and engaging. The main point of this lesson was that a variety of teaching methods are necessary, while using a course book is important it's also important to tailor each lesson to the students so as to ensure a better learning experience.
