In Unit 4, I learned about present tenses and the rules to use them. With each tense learned, I became aware of the form, usuages, typical student errors, as well as great teaching ideas for the subject. Form covered the affirmative, negative, and questions of the tense/grammar point. The form will lay out the construction and fundamental rules of the tense as well. Each tense or grammar point has a list of circumstances it can be used and some may even overlap. Depending on the L1 of the student, errors will vary. The Unit provides some of the most common errors language learners encounter when learning English tenses. Finally, the lesson gave great instruction on how to tackle errors found as well as teaching ideas to make the tense lesson interesting and knowledgeable.
