The unit, gave an overview outlining many aspects for teaching pronunciation and phonology. It was very detailed and a lot to take in, as I had never gone as indepth into the inner-workings of pronunciation like this before. I was fascinated with the phonemic alphabet and its uses and I'd like to try employing it in my lessons someday. I also found the information on intonation, stress and rhythm very interesting and useful. When teaching intonation I agree that it would help students to be shown the direction of the sound and to differentiate between the patterns of speech. Overall a longer but very informative unit.
