This unit was based specifically on the materials necessary for teachers which are crucial for the correct teaching of the English language. It is very important for the teacher to know exactly which materials are better suited for the level of her students and when to shift from authentic to creative materials in order to meet everyone's needs and achieve smooth learning of the language. Teachers have to aim for their lessons to be unpredictabe, challenging and interesting for the students in order to keep the excitement for the new language and also keep the students motivated and engaged during class. Even if the psychological aspect of learning is not clearly mentioned in this unit, the unit stressed how important it is to know the students' needs and abilities and present materials that most fitting for the class as a whole.
