This unit presented issues based on the learners' receptive skills. Included also are steps to be taken by the teacher to make that the learners get the most from presented lessons. Patterns for teaching, ESA for instance, were presented, with attention paid to how best they would be utilised in the teaching process. The unit rounded off with an exercise on how best to handle an ESA Straight Arrow class on a given interview. I think I learned new things about receptive skills and the best way to make sure the students understand lessons that are presented verbally or spoken.
