This unit focused on lesson planning and lesson delivery. The first part paid close attention to factors to be considered when planning lessons, which included the dos and don'ts and, importantly, what the planner (teacher) hopes the learners would achieve at end of the lesson. The second part looked at the make up of the note itself, that is, how the lesson if well planned would aid the teacher in achieving the perfect delivery. The ESA (Engage, Study, and Activate) structure was used to present lesson notes on animal vocabulary and the present perfect tense. I learned a lot from this section particularly as I believe I am now properly guided on how to make the most from the lesson note.
