I have experience in teaching online conversational English and one of the challenges faced is trying to get students interested in improving their writing skills. Writing is perceived as more difficult and formal so the guidelines given in this unit are useful.
The different activities and guidelines on how to prompt speaking were set out well. They make one more confident to teach. Again, lesson plans are so important and useful so it's convenient going through the different techniques laid out on how to set out each lesson.
Speaking lessons seem more fun as they allow for debates, discussions and also sharing and learning of new information.
