My biggest takeway from this unit was thinking about all of the different roles that a teacher can have in a classroom environment. Having taught for many year now, I sometimes forget about all of the different hats we wear during a lesson and its important to keep in mind that a good balance of all of them is essential to having a good learning environment. I also liked reading about the differences between adult and young learners. I can relate to a lot of the struggles that come with sometimes teaching adults due to their previous life experiences with learning a language and bad habits that theyve picked up over the years.
