This unit discusses modal auxiliaries; how they are used, their position in a sentence and their teaching ideas.The unit also treats the passive voice, how it is formed in different tenses, their usage and teaching ideas.
Furthermore, the unit treats the types of relative clauses. It concludes with the definition and types of phrasal verbs.
In this unit, i have learnt other uses of modals such as; obligation, permission, ability and advice.
I have also learnt the formation of passive voice (present simple tense is formed with is/are + past participle) and the usage of the passive voice.
