this unit reflects in a basic and concise way the most common causes, problems and situations that teachers can encounter in the classroom, and also suggest corresponding analysis and techniques to apply when dealing with such situations.
I have learnt useful approaches and techniques to deal with first time students,the use of warmers to motivate students, also how to deal with: students at different levels, large classes, the use of native language in monolingual classes, students who do not seem to want to participate in class and how to apply receptive-skills techniques in classes with difficulties with listening and understanding text.
