Reading materials are divided into 2 groups : authentic materials and created materials. Authentic materials are programs, magazines, newspapers, songs, poems, brochures, menus, films. Authentic materials are not designed for the EFL student, they are not graded for level, therefore they should be graded carefully. Created materials are designed by the teacher to replace or supplement materials from a course book.
