The Content in Unit 2 covers Theories, Methods and Techniques for teaching English as a Foreign Language. The unit goes into good detail about various teaching methodologies, the structure for TEFL lessons, techniques for soliciting various desired outcomes, examples of different variations of E,S,A structures. It also gives a good guide to various suitable activities for each of the lesson phases as well as really good overview on giving feedback and correcting mistakes.
Having completed the unit I feel that I now know enough, so that if I were to be called to give a lesson now, I would have a good basic understanding of how to plan and structure the lesson and be able to incorporate a number of different activities per phase and how and when to correct mistakes/errors made by students.
