Overall, I feel as if I have learned a lot from this course, especially things that will help me in my future teaching, whether I am teaching English language learners or not. This particular unit discussed various problems teachers may face in the classroom. I have come across several items in this unit that I have personally struggled with when trying to teach lessons to English language learners as well as students in classrooms from back home. Something I still struggle with is reluctant students and how to get them to participate. I think the ideas presented in this unit are helpful and I plan on trying them in the future. These are using pair work, using controlled practice, role play, and using a tape recorder.
