I feel that I learned a lot from this unit. I didn't know a lot of the material and I feel like I have had trouble pronouncing words correctly when I have been learning other languages. I think the international phonemic symbols is a really cool idea and it was fun trying to figure out what it was supposed to be saying, like in the three questions above. In my reading class we learned about pronouncing letters and voiced and unvoiced letters; so that was cool seeing something I have already learned in connection with the new material.
