The first lesson was an example of what NOT to do in class, everything was wrong but I personally think that the two main factors that doomed this class to failure were the complete lack of elicitation and the attitude of the teacher. Almost every aspect of the second lesson was top notch, I need to remember to steal the teacher's usage of the board and the modeling of the mill drill activity ( stage one, make sure that they know how to play normal bingo, stage two elicit the first answer and elicit a mistake) .Always remember to break the activity up into the simplest components when modeling.
