This unit taught me that it is important to know the different learners in your class in order to understand where each learner is with the English language so that you can teach and prepare lessons accordingly. Not each learner is the same so it is important to vary lessons in order to allow full class participation and interest. One also needs to know the age groups of learners and the purpose of why you are teaching the learners to speak and understand English as to prepare lessons accordingly.
