This lesson taught me that as a teacher, I have a major effect on the learning process and how students perceive a lesson. One needs to be mindful of what is being taught and ho wit is taught- if a teacher has a positive attitude,the learners will have a positive attitude and if the teacher is prepared, the learners will engage and participate more. As a teacher, I do know the importance of being prepared for a lesson and making a lesson fun and relatable to learners. It is also important that work be consolidated to ensure that learners have learnt and understood what has been taught (this also ensures that they will retain the knowledge that has been developed during the lesson).
