This unit is focused over the figures of the teachers and the learners. It starts by giving an explanation of what "good teachers" are and it continues by describing the different roles that a teacher assumes during teaching. The chapter then moves onto describing what "good learners" are describing some of their characteristics ( age, language abilities, cultural background and motivation). I found the chapter interesting and it confirmed my suspicion that the best teachers (almost) always have the best students because they pay attention to the students' learning and they understand their psychology, they strive to improve their teaching techniques because they want to provide a better learning environment and more generally they "care" about how their class of students is doing.
