Equipment and teaching aids are covered in unit 17. The unit initially gives a list of 15 pieces of equipment that can be used in classrooms and study centers. These include such tools as a white/black board, overhead projector or a CD player as well as many others. The unit goes into detail on each of these tools explaining not only their advantages and disadvantages but also the most effective ways to use them. It concludes with various online resources which include websites for dictionaries, learning, resources, media and a few other useful sites. This unit was especially beneficial in that it gives so many useful resources with which a teacher can construct more technologically involved classes that may help in holding student interest.
