The topic of unit 15 are the evaluation and testing methods available to teachers of English as well as the external testing methods given in addition to regular language schools. The unit discusses the four primary testing methods—placement, progress, diagnostic and practice tests—that are frequently given in language schools as well as what each of them consists of and are used for. Following these are the general external examinations and various examinations which are given at two colleges located in the UK. I feel that I have learned more about testing in its various forms as well as how best to use those tests.
