In this unit, we look at the different ways of assessing students’ level. We extend this by analyzing the different reasons needs for assessment.
We then go deeper into testing and how it relates to the lessons. Testing can be used for leveling or evaluating a student’s needs, evaluating the progress of a student and if a lesson is meeting their needs, or a student may be in class because they need to pass some external exam.
