This unit is a gives a clear understanding of the role of the teacher as well as the varied skills and attributes that a teacher needs to have in order to be successful in the classroom. It also clearly shows that learners can be different due to many factors as well. These factors may influence how well the student learns. The language levels of students is also explored as they relate to teaching. I enjoyed the content of unit one as it is a reminder of the many facets that make up a positive learning environment.
