Unit 3 about Managing Classes was a little bit easier to grasp because It brought into my mind the way our classes were organized and how our teachers used to maintain discipline in the classroom. At each level of my education, we have had problematic students who pretended to be the boss of the class and would always pick on those who were from the rural areas. Teachers didn't know what to do with them. They used low grading as a punishment but even that didn't work. Also, the only way our classes are arranged even nowadays is orderly rows. I really like the circle or horseshoe arrangement, it makes the students feel they are at the same level. Here in Albania we really lack the grouping of the students, teaching here is more teacher-centered and students aren't given a lot of chances to discuss or express what they think. It is changing but very slowly. What I have learned so far from these three units is that teachers should give student-centered time more credits and should be increased so that they can learn a foreign language better and faster.
