This final unit is on troubleshooting some frequent issues that will come up as an EFL teacher. The first lesson is crucial to establishing rapport and finding out the needs/skills of the students. First lessons should not focus on material but rather involve warm up games and introductions to keep the mood light while still learning about the students and letting them learn about you as well. Other issues that may come up that require special attention are dealing with large classes, reluctant learners and the use of native language.
