If teacher want to make a good class, need to understand student's level and teaching approaches very well. Student’s level always has to be considered. For beginner level students, straight arrow ESA lesson plan might be fit. For advantage level students would be better taught by boomerang lesson. Not only teaching methodologies but also teaching materials, teacher’s attitude is most important portion to make an effective class. As we could see from first video, teacher’s bad attitude and lack of preparation and description cause student’s confusion and reduce their motivation. For making a good class teacher has to have a good lesson plan first. If teacher prepared a good lesson plane and suitable materials, teacher could save a lot of time and students could learn English effectively with fun. Also encouraging the students is one of teacher’s duties. As making compromise, taking communication with students, teacher could understand students and could make them be better. Through the second video we can see how different atmosphere they could have. At straight arrow lesson plan, I think engage phase is the most difficult portion in the whole steps. Teachers try to arouse the student’s interest and get them involved in the lesson, for this teacher needs good idea. If teachers try to find out a good idea constantly for each lesson, even though they fail sometimes, they could have suitable plan for each class.
