This lesson was beneficial because it is important to understand the different reasons and motivations students might decide to learn or improve upon their english skills. Within a classroom there can be many different types of students with different learning styles, and a teachers job is to be patient and understanding while prompting students to learn how to express themselves in a technical but also creative format. Learning english is more than just learning parts of speech and grammar it is about getting access to a larger world an being able to share cultures and facilitate the exchange of information.
